Queer Art Hub Named Official Community Partner of QADS, the First International Queer Art & Design Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY — November 1, 2026

Paris show opens June 2027 at Le Carreau du Temple with 26 galleries and design studios and more than 50 international queer artists

Dear Queer Artists today announced that its flagship platform, Queer Art Hub, has been named Official Community Partner of QADS — the first international Queer Art & Design Show — taking place June 10 to 13, 2027 at Le Carreau du Temple in Paris.

Born as a grassroots initiative, Queer Art Hub has grown into a global platform connecting 1,000+ LGBTQ+ artists across 40+ countries with curators, galleries and institutions worldwide. The partnership makes Queer Art Hub the route between QADS and that community, carrying show news, programming details and opportunities to its members first.

QADS brings together 26 galleries and design studios and more than 50 international queer artists across four days. It is organized by The Norm, a Paris-based agency dedicated to LGBTQIA+ culture, and co-founded by Erick Ricardo Acosta, The Norm’s founder and artistic director, and Benjamin Hélion-Guggenheim, Director of Nouveau Message and of the AKAA (Also Known As Africa) art fair.

A queer art show, not an art fair

Some of what is on view at QADS can be bought and taken home: paintings, sculpture, design objects. Some of it cannot. A dance piece, a sound work or a fashion moment happens once, at a scheduled time, and is gone when it ends. That mix of work that can be owned and work that can only be witnessed is what makes QADS a show rather than a fair.

The program spans digital art, painting and sculpture, archival work by queer artists who shaped the last century, performative dance, sound and movement pieces, and fashion woven through select moments. QADS Programming will run across all four days, with curator-led walkthroughs, talks featuring entrepreneurs from the LGBTQIA+ community, and artist spotlights on inclusion in the field and on redefining “queer art” as a term rather than a fixed category.
